The not-so-well-kept secret in acupuncture circles is that most of us who chose to go into the profession began our journey with Chinese Medicine as patients. I had personally been in severe, chronic pain for seven years, after being hit by a car as I was crossing the street. The pain relief I received from acupuncture treatment not only gave me a new life, but led to a new profession as well. If it hadn't been for the testimonials offered by other patients, I might never have tried acupuncture and my life would have turned out very differently!
