Acupuncture Helped My Infertility

My husband and I started trying to conceive our second child and were not successful. I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), which was part of the reason why we were unsuccessful in trying to add to our family. After more testing, it was clear that we had to seek infertility treatments, and that in vitro fertilization (IVF) was our only option. I came to Healthpointe Acupuncture to prepare for my first IVF cycle, because I had read that combining Acupuncture with IVF increases the chance of achieving a pregnancy. After a few months of treatment with Lisa Marie Price, I started IVF. Not only did the acupuncture help to keep me relaxed throughout the whole process, I firmly believe that it helped contribute to the success of my first IVF cycle.

I continued to get treatments throughout my pregnancy, and I was very impressed with how much acupuncture helped with pregnancy symptoms. I had horrible morning sickness for a few days, and when I mentioned this, Lisa Marie treated the nausea. After the hour-long treatment, I felt so much better! The morning sickness was completely gone! She also helped treat the exhaustion, which made a huge difference and made the pregnancy much more pleasant. I went on to give birth to a healthy baby boy.

I cannot thank Lisa Marie enough for all of the care and attention she gave me over the last year. She is a wonderful acupuncturist and is dedicated to treating her patients. I highly recommend her to anyone who is going through infertility treatments, pregnancy, or anyone who feels acupuncture may help them. I was a skeptic when I first walked into Healthpointe Acupuncture, and I now how wonderful acupuncture is. Every time I hold my son, I am aware of how much acupuncture helped change my life.
